Prenatal Support
From the moment we begin working together, I’ll be here to support you — a steady resource for any questions, ideas, or feelings that come up along the way.
Your prenatal support includes:
Two in-person visits (usually between 32–36 weeks), where we’ll prepare for your birth together.
Personalized guidance on topics such as creating your birth plan, understanding labour and birth, navigating hospital routines, feeding your baby (breast/chest-feeding), postpartum recovery, newborn care, and baby safety.
Complimentary use of my labour support tools, including a TENS machine, birth pool, and other comfort items.
Text and email support so you always have someone to reach out to.
Thoughtful referrals to local and holistic professionals such as lactation consultants, prenatal care providers, and postpartum resources in your community.
Birth Support
From 37 weeks, I’ll be on-call for you 24/7, ready to connect by phone or text whenever you need reassurance or guidance.
When it’s time to welcome your baby, I’ll join you — at home or in the hospital — to support you through every moment of your baby’s birth day.
Your birth support includes:
Continuous in-person care throughout active labour until your baby’s arrival, and gentle support for 1–2 hours afterward while everyone settles in.
Comfort and coping techniques to help you feel grounded and supported.
Birth photography or short video clips, if you’d like to capture those precious first moments.
Feeding and newborn care guidance, including hands-on support for your first latch or feed (if you plan to breast/chestfeed).
Postpartum Support
After your baby arrives, my care continues as you settle into new parenthood. I’ll check in with you during your first week by text or phone, and once you’re home and ready, we’ll connect in person for a nurturing postpartum visit.
Your postpartum support includes:
One in-person visit within the first 1–2 weeks after birth to help you reflect on your experience, offer emotional support, and assist with newborn care as you adjust to life with your baby.
A complimentary babywearing consultation to help you find comfort and confidence in carrying your little one.
Unlimited text and email support for up to six weeks postpartum.
Complimentary rental of baby scale (up to 6 weeks, based on availability).
Personalized referrals to trusted postpartum professionals and community resources for ongoing care and support.
Booking & Payment
To reserve your spot in my calendar, a 40% deposit is required by the moment of signing in contract, other 30% due before our first prenatal visit. The remaining balance will be due by 36 weeks of pregnancy.
I’ll provide clear invoices and reminders so everything feels simple and transparent — one less thing to worry about as you prepare for your baby’s arrival.
Cancellation Policy
Because I hold your due window exclusively for you and limit the number of families I support, all fees are final, and deposits are non-refundable.
If, for any reason, I’m unable to attend your birth due to illness, family emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, I will ensure that a trusted backup doula is available to provide continuous, compassionate care in my place.
Refunds are only issued in the rare case that I’m unable to fulfill my services due to my own error or negligence.
Financial Flexibility
I believe everyone who wants a doula deserves the support of one.
If you’re experiencing financial limitations, please reach out — I’m always open to pay-what-you-can or flexible arrangements when possible. I’d love to hear your story and explore a way for us to work together that feels respectful and manageable for your family.
